Antidote (London Friend)

An LGBTQ+-run drug and alcohol service, and one of the UK's earliest to work with people affected by chemsex.

Antidote is the LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol service of London Friend, a long-established LGBTQ+ charity. It was one of the first services in the UK to work with people affected by chemsex, and it is run by and for the LGBTQ+ community.

What they offer

  • Information and advice on drugs, alcohol and chemsex.
  • One-to-one key work, groups and drop-ins (for London residents).
  • Support for friends and family of people affected by chemsex.

Can I use it from Blackpool?

Antidote's structured treatment is for people living in London, but anyone can contact it for information and advice. That can be helpful if you want to talk to an LGBTQ+ specialist first, before going to a local service.
