BiPhoria

Britain's longest-running bi group, based in Manchester since 1994, with peer support and socials for bi+ adults across the North West.

BiPhoria is a social and support group for adults attracted to more than one gender: bisexual, pansexual, queer and other bi+ people. It has met since September 1994 and describes itself as Britain's longest-running bi group. It is the nearest dedicated bi group to Blackpool.

What it offers

  • Talky Space, a peer-support meeting for bi+ people, on the first Wednesday of the month. Some sessions run online on Zoom, so you can join from Blackpool.
  • Social meets, so members can keep in touch between support sessions.
  • Outreach stalls at Prides and community events, and guest speakers for workplaces and events such as Bi Visibility Day.

Getting there from Blackpool

Manchester is about an hour and a quarter by direct train from Blackpool North. Check the group's website for the current meeting schedule and whether a session is online or in person.
