Some details here may be out of date. Check with the group before you go.

Blackpool Allies is a friendly social group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people and anyone who supports them. You don't need to identify as LGBT+ to come along. Friends, family and allies are all welcome.

What they offer

  • Relaxed social evenings with a chat and a cuppa, away from the noise of the bars.
  • A chance to make new friends, especially if you are new to Blackpool or don't enjoy the late-night scene.
  • A welcoming first step if you are coming out, or supporting someone who is.

Don't confuse this group with lists of "ally" businesses. Blackpool Allies is a social group for people.

When and where

The group has met on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Horizon centre, 102 Dickson Road, in the Rainbow Quarter.

These details come from a group listing we couldn't date, so check with the group before you go.
