Gender Outreach drop-in, Blackpool
A free monthly lunchtime drop-in at Blackpool Central Library for people on, waiting for or considering the gender identity clinic pathway.

The Gender Outreach Service supports trans and non-binary people in Lancashire who are waiting for, receiving or thinking about care from the Leeds and York NHS gender identity service. It is run with Lancashire LGBT, and it also helps families and professionals.
What they offer
- A free monthly drop-in at Blackpool Central Library where you can talk to outreach workers in person.
- Information on the gender identity clinic pathway, what the wait involves and what support is available meanwhile.
- One-to-one support by phone, video or face to face.
- An information and advice line.
- Signposting to other services, including peer groups.
When and where
The Blackpool drop-in is held at Blackpool Central Library, Queen Street, usually on a Thursday lunchtime from 12pm to 2pm. You don't need an appointment.
Dates are published month by month on Lancashire LGBT's events calendar. When we last checked, no date for the next session had been posted, so check with the service before you go.

- It's free, and you can come on your own or bring someone for support.
- Parents, partners and carers are welcome too.
- The library is a short walk from Blackpool North station and the Rainbow Quarter.
