Good to know

  • The service is for adults aged 25 and over. Under-25s are referred to the Blackpool Adolescent Service.
  • It shares its name with Horizon LGBTQ+, the LGBTQ+ health service in the same building, but the two are separate services. If your drug or alcohol use is linked to sex, Horizon LGBTQ+ (01253 311431) offers specialist chemsex and harm reduction support, and the NHS sexual health clinic can refer you on too.
  • For confidential LGBTQ+-specific advice on chemsex by phone, Antidote, a national LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol service, can offer information.
  • You don't have to want to stop completely to get help. Harm reduction is about keeping you safer, whatever you decide.
