Some details here may be out of date. Check with the group before you go.

Rainbow Creative Hub is an arts club for LGBT+ people on the Fylde coast. It meets at Pot Bound, a creative studio in St Annes, a short hop down the coast from Blackpool.

What they offer

  • Relaxed creative sessions for LGBT+ people, whatever your experience.
  • Free materials, so you don't need to buy anything to have a go.
  • Tea and coffee for £1.
  • Good company. Making something with your hands is a gentle way to meet people, as the conversation tends to flow without pressure.

When and where

Sessions are held at Pot Bound, 23 St Andrews Road South, St Annes.

Session times aren't published, and as a new group its arrangements may change, so check with the studio before you go.

How to get in touch

Contact Pot Bound to ask about the next Rainbow Creative Hub session.

Good to know

  • No art skills are needed. Clubs like this are about enjoying the process, not producing a masterpiece.
  • St Annes is easy to reach from Blackpool by bus or train.
  • If singing is more your thing, Electric Pink Voices, Blackpool's LGBTQ+ choir, rehearses every Tuesday.
  • For a daytime social nearby, Lytham Let Live meets monthly in Lytham on a Wednesday morning.
  • The We're Still Here! heritage project is another creative way to get involved, collecting the stories of LGBTQ+ life in Blackpool.
