Sallies is a lesbian social that meets seven evenings a year from 6:30pm at the White Cross pub by the canal in Lancaster. Newcomers can ask to be met outside, which takes the nerves out of walking in alone.
There is no regular lesbian night in Blackpool at the moment, so Sallies is one of the nearest. Lancaster is about half an hour from Blackpool by train, changing at Preston.
