Health, safety and helplines
- Emergency / Northumbria Police: Report crime including homophobic and transphobic hate crime.
- Stop Hate UK: 24-hour independent hate-crime reporting line used by Newcastle City Council; third-party and anonymous reports accepted.
- Galop: Support for LGBT+ victims of hate crime, domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- LGBT+ Switchboard: National listening and signposting helpline.
- City Safe hub: Council/Northumbria Police/NE1 partnership tackling crime and anti-social behaviour across the city centre, day and night.
- Safe Haven van: Police-run welfare point: confidential reporting, first aid, phone charging, help finding friends and getting home; works with council Street Marshals, Street Pastors and NEAS
- New Croft Sexual Health Service: Sexual health clinic: STI testing, PrEP/PEP, HIV care, contraception, free condoms.
- MESMAC Newcastle: Sexual health and support service for gay and bisexual men and other communities: free condoms, counselling, advice, groups.
- Blue Sky Trust: Support, peer mentoring and courses for people living with or affected by HIV.
- SHINE: Women's sexual health service (all-female staff), free HIV testing and STI kits.
Community groups
- Curious Arts / Curious Futures: LGBTQIA+ arts, youth and heritage charity; its not-for-profit subsidiary Curious Futures has run Newcastle Pride since Northern Pride closed (Nov/Dec 2025); also runs the Curious Festival each July
- The LGBT Federation North East: Umbrella body uniting LGBT groups across the region; meetings, socials, volunteering
- Northern Proud Voices: LGBTQ+ choir, rehearses Thursdays 7-9pm at ReCoCo
- ReCoCo (Recovery College Collective): Pride in Mind group for LGBTQ+ people with lived experience of mental ill-health (second Friday monthly, 2-4pm) and an LGBTQ+ and allies wellbeing group
- Pride Media / Pride Radio: LGBTQIA+ community media hub and radio station
- Gay Men Tyneside (GMT): Social group for gay and bi men 18+, meets Wednesdays from 7pm
- Newcastle Ravens RFC: Gay-inclusive rugby club founded 2006; organises the Hadrian Cup
- Newcastle Frontrunners: LGBTQ+ running club, Wednesdays 7pm at Gosforth Leisure Centre
- Newcastle Panthers FC: LGBT+ football club open to all
- United with Pride: Official LGBT+ supporters' group of Newcastle United
- Newcastle Cathedral LGBTQ+ and Allies Hub: Monthly Saturday gathering from 6pm
