The Flying Handbag at 44 Queen Street is the biggest name on the strip: a purpose-built LGBTQ+ bar with a sun terrace, food all day and a late licence. Here is how a typical week runs:

  • Monday: Monday Mayhem from 8pm until 3am, plus karaoke
  • Wednesday: QuizMania with Amber, 4pm to 8pm, and karaoke
  • Thursday: Thirsty Thursday with Miss Amber, Take It or Leave It, and karaoke
  • Friday: TFI Friday with Miss Amber and DJ Pudsley
  • Sunday: Sunday lunch

It is a million-pound venue and a past winner at the Blackpool Pride Awards.
