Hot Girl Summer opens at Funny Girls
The first show under Funny Girls' new owners opened on Thursday 28 May: Hot Girl Summer, running until 6 September.
It kicks off with a Gloria Estefan medley, then the queens work through Cher, Madonna, Britney and Tina Turner. There's slick choreography, plenty of laughs, a big disco finale and, somehow, chickens. Yes, chickens.
It is also the show that brings Miss Scarlett back to the Funny Girls stage after six years away.
Funny Girls is at 5 Dickson Road, a couple of minutes from Blackpool North station. Book at funnygirlsshow.co.uk.
