While the main stage was on the Headland, the Rainbow Quarter put on its own party. Lord Street became a free street party on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June, running from Springfield Road to Cocker Street.
More than 20 local businesses organised it together. Gates opened at noon both days, DJs started at 1pm and live entertainment ran from 5pm until 10pm. Entry was free with a wristband, one in, one out once it was full.
The aim was simple: bring the venues, residents and visitors together and show off the quarter as Blackpool's LGBTQ+ home. For a lot of people it was the best part of the weekend, right on the doorstep of the bars on Lord Street, Queen Street and Dickson Road.
