Hand in Hand is the national LGBTQ+ choir festival for the UK and Ireland, held every two years. The 2027 edition comes to Blackpool from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 August 2027.
Expect a weekend of performances from LGBTQ+ choirs from across the UK and Ireland, plus community events around town. Participating choirs list the Winter Gardens and the Tower Ballroom as festival venues.
The full Where We Belong song cycle, written with Blackpool choirs and inspired by local LGBTQ+ stories, is due to premiere at the festival.
Good to know: the detailed programme, times and tickets haven't been published yet. Mid-August is peak season in Blackpool, so if you're travelling for it, book accommodation early. Check the festival website for updates.
