Rainbow Quarter Community Street Party
The Rainbow Quarter's own community street party returns for a summer weekend, 4 to 6 June 2027.
Save the date: the Rainbow Quarter Community Street Party is coming back from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027.
The first one ran over Pride weekend in June 2026, when Lord Street became a free street party from Springfield Road to Cocker Street. More than 20 local businesses organised it together, with DJs in the afternoon and live entertainment in the evening, and about 3,000 people came along over two days. Organisers have said they're planning a bigger edition for 2027.
What we don't know yet: the 2027 programme, opening times and whether entry will again be free with a wristband. We'll update this page as details are announced.
Tip: Pride weekend usually falls in early June too, so expect the town to be very busy. Book your room in the quarter early.
