Pinkies has been part of the scene for several years, with a regular following on Dickson Road. In January 2026 the bar went before the council for a licence transfer as an LGBTQ+ venue. Its premises licence passed to new holders twice during 2026, most recently in July, and it has carried on trading through the changes.

The current licence allows opening every day from 10am until 2.30am, with music and entertainment licensed from 11pm to 2am. In practice Pinkies keeps shorter hours and opens mainly in the evenings, with Thursday evenings and weekends the most reliable. Karaoke and DJ sessions are the staples.

Entry is free. The bar runs Challenge 25, so bring ID. Door staff are on duty late at weekends and before bank holidays. Outdoor drinking stops at 10pm.
