Just Be Me: a new musical for Pride's 20th
Pride weekend started a day early this year with the premiere of Just Be Me – A New Musical in Concert at the Central Pier Showbar on Thursday 4 June. Written for Blackpool Pride's 20th anniversary, it was developed in Blackpool with a cast drawn from the town. There were no formal auditions: anyone interested could turn up to Sunday rehearsals at Claremont Park Community Centre and sing a song.…
