Rainbow QuarterBlackpool's inclusive quarter: everyone welcome

Yates Street

A short side street off Lord Street with the Neon cocktail bar and hotel and the men-only Prince Albert.

Yates Street is one of the short side streets that make up the northern end of the quarter. It is only about 145 metres long and links Dickson Road, Lord Street and High Street, with Lewtas Street and Back Lord Street off it. It is about a fifth of a mile from Blackpool North station, with the postcodes FY1 2DB and FY1 2DE.

On the street

  • Neon at 15 Yates Street, on the corner of Lord Street, is an intimate cocktail bar with a back garden, attached to the adults-only Hotel Neon. It opens Thursday to Sunday and is a favourite for pre-drinks.
  • The Prince Albert at 11 Yates Street is a discreet, men-only four-star hotel with no sign outside, a guest bar and lounge.
  • The rest of the street is guest houses.

Lewtas Street

Lewtas Street is a quiet, purely residential street of about 170 metres off Yates Street and High Street (postcode FY1 2DY). It has no venues; if a listing gives you a Lewtas Street address for Acqua Sauna, the sauna is actually on Springfield Road.

Getting here

From Blackpool North station, walk up High Street or Dickson Road. Parking is easiest at the Cocker Street and Cocker Square car parks, about two minutes' walk.
